LSR is proud to announce working for a new client to find a seasoned Account Manager to take ownership of sales across the Netherlands, representing a globally respected manufacturer of capital equipment, diagnostics platforms, and hospital medical devices.

This role focuses on breaking, managing, and selling to public and private hospitals. It works closely with clinical decision-makers and procurement teams to position technically advanced, high-value solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across the Netherlands for a defined portfolio of diagnostics systems, capital equipment, and medical consumables used in acute and chronic care settings.
  • Develop new business and expand existing accounts within hospital environments and technical services departments.
  • Manage the tender process, from specification input through to negotiation and close.
  • Act as the main contact for hospital clients, coordinating with internal teams to ensure delivery, training, and support are aligned with customer expectations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hospital sales experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or capital equipment.
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement cycles, budgeting processes, and public tender procedures in the Netherlands.
  • Confident working across both clinical and technical teams, and comfortable leading complex sales conversations involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Degree in a relevant field (healthcare, biomedical, commercial, or similar).
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Valid driving licence (B) and open to travel across the Netherlands.
