Cellular Analytics

Cellular Analytics is a developer of microfluidic platforms, designed to optimise the detection of rare circulating tumor cells.

We were approached by the founder, via recommendation from another small start-up client, to appoint a new Chair. The main need would be to bring investor focus to the business, develop the C-Level and expand the company’s reputation outside of Canada.

After a global search, Morgan Prestwich presented 6 diverse candidates for the Chair position. During the search, timings along with investor interest meant the need for the Chair was put on hold until after the series raise was completed. However, one of the candidates interviewing was so of interest to the company that they brought them into the business as Chief Business Officer, with a view of moving them to the Chair position upon successful raise.
