Tarus Therapeutics

Tarus is a biotech company focused on nucleotide metabolism in cancer. The company’s lead programs target the immunosuppressive adenosine pathway in the tumor microenvironment for the treatment of resistant cancers.
We met one of the founders at the JPM Healthcare Conference. He asked us to help build the board of the company. They needed a big name within the industry and upon looking further into their board we highlighted that they really needed to add 2 people onto it.
After a global search, we presented 6 leading candidates to the company founders. Through the interview process, 2 candidates were identified to be of key interest. We successfully appointed both David Epstein (ex-CEO Novartis USA) and David Nicholson (Ex-R&D Chief at Allergan).
